DRY HYDRANT

Engineered and built for years of trouble-free service. Metal parts are constructed from lightweight aircraft aluminum alloy. All parts are “hardcoated” to provide the most durable finish. Strainer body is manufactured from 6” or 8” diameter heavy-duty Schedule 40 PVC pipe, drilled with 3/8” diameter drain holes, and clappered end for back flushing. Complete system will consist of one each: adapter, strainer, hydrant cap or plug, and underwater support(s) (supports are optional). The underground PVC pipe can be obtained locally to save the expense of freight costs. The Long Handle Female dry hydrant adapter comes with continuous swivel. Each individual dry hydrant component can be purchased separately. Installation is simple and easy.
